This is the era of technology. Every human being worth his/her self is networked with the planet, the primary medium is being internet however, it is this rampant increase in communication that has lead us towards Security Concerns. It is not impossible for hackers to extract your information like a zephyr today, in fraction of minute. Recent surveys have shown an increase of 200% in Cyber Crime within the last three years. Today, Cyber Crime is not just restricted to email hacking, but the claws have extended to SMS & Call Spoofing, Credit Card fraud, Child Pornography, Phishing and Remote Key Logging etc.
TechDefence Pvt. Ltd, Ahmedabad, has been pretty active in this field for quite some time. We have solved more than 16 Cases like Fake Profile Cases, Email Spoofing cases, Phishing case, Espionage cases, Credit Card fraud Cases, Cyber Pornography Case, SMS Spoofing Case in association with Crime Branch, Ahmedabad. Recently the director and CTO of the company Mr. Sunny Vaghela also helped Crime Branch Ahmedabad & Mumbai ATS to solve terror mail trail of the Ahmedabad Serial Bomb Blast Case & Mumbai Blasts Case. He has also been bestowed by Rajiv Gandhi Young Achiever's Award as the IT Expert of Gujarat in August, 2007.
We wish to organize Seminar & Hands on workshop on Ethical Hacking & Information Security in association with Vishwakarma Government Engineering College Chandkheda, Gandhinagar . The primary reasons behind conducting this workshop are to give a live demonstration of different Cyber Attacks,Hands on Practice on Web Application Assessment & Penetration Testing ,Cyber Crime Investigations & explain how security analysts & cyber crime investigators uses techniques to solve these vulnerabilities & organized crimes.
