ELIMINATION ROUND

There will be a maximum of 4 groups for the elimination rounds. All teams will be divided into the 4 groups and allocated a team number.

• All teams with odd number will speak ‘For the Motion’ and teams with even numbers will speak ‘Against the Motion’.
• Each group will be given a topic which will be put up in the notice board
• Flow of the Elimination Round:
• Team with Odd Number (A) – Speaks For the motion
• Team with Even Number (B) – Speaks Against the motion                    

• Each team member will speaks for 2 minutes
• Each team can ask the opposition team 1 question.

SEMI FINALS & FINALS

• Flow of Debate Team A (Member 1)->Team B (Member 1)->Team A (Member 2)->Team B(Member 2).
• Each team member speaks for 3 minutes by turn.
• Each team will cross question opposition with 2 questions each.
• These questions will be followed by questions from the Judges .
• This will be followed by questions from the audience.
